Although the services of computer forensics are definitely in high demand right now, from the police force requiring them to track down cyber criminals to banks wanting them to secure their online banking services, not every Tom, Dick and Harry can be a computer forensics expert.

Certain training and certifications are required in order to ensure that they would not be abusing their powers. Having the power to roam the internet and catch cyber criminal is an enormous responsibility and you know the saying, with great powers come great responsibility.

There are many computer forensics certifications available out there. More and more of them are being recognize by our government with each passing day. The most famous computer forensics certification is perhaps the one done with ISFCE Certified Computer Examiner.

There are also certifications available from the IACRB Certified Computer Forensics Examiner apart from IACIS or the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists and CFCE or Certified Computer Forensic Examiner program.

With various computer forensics certification available, computed forensics are being closely monitored, like any other job, to ensure that they keep up with the latest advancement and are not being out smartened by hackers out there. These certifications also ensure that they use the powers bestowed upon them responsibly.
